The Essential X Series: A Method as old as time

Art found on cave walls from 16,000 years ago depicts various animals from the water that were speared or harpooned. Mentions of fishing spears can be found in the Bible in Job 41:7. And an image of spearfishing from a boat can be found on a wall in a tomb from 1430 BC in Thebes.

Is of no consequence that spearfishing is a loved sport today.

“We were taught to fish and spear dive from a really early age in the Florida Keys. I remember being so proud of my first speared fish (with a sling spear) I can't remember how old I was but all of the adults were super impressed and I remember being so proud of myself.”
