The Essential X Series: Living the Lifestyle
Up until now, it has been relatively easy to disguise the women we are choosing to honor. This one however is a little tricky.
Her earliest memory fishing was on lake Powell at the age or 4 or 5 and her earliest hunting memory was around age 7.
It hasn’t stopped there. She’s a fish biologist for Fish & Wildlife Service and she's been able to work across multiple states including Alaska.
You’ll find her the first one up right behind her father, when we do get to head back to Powell and get to chase striper boils.
She’s also one of the first up at the annual family javelina camp making sure everyone has enough in their bellies before they, including her, head out to hunt. The javelina shaped cookies? Well, let’s just say she’s a little obsessed.
I’m pretty sure she’s the first to volunteer to help on someone else's hunt and has recently been putting the spot and stalk on animals all on her own and filing tags solo.
Hunting across many of the lower 48 and Alaska too, her passion knows no bounds.
Soon, she will be an aunt to the luckiest niece/nephew on the planet. And next year we'll celebrate a wedding to her best friend and partner in outdoor adventure crime.
If anyone lives the hunting and fishing lifestyle, there’s not a better person in our time to say they live it more than she does.
